The Purple Foot enjoys sharing our knowledge of home fermentation. Several times a year we participate in the following events and are available to answer questions. Stop in and try something new, we offer samples of home made wines and beers from our own cellars!

This is an open house event. Stop by with your apples and pears, crush and press them and prepare them for winemaking at this annual event. Sample homemade wines and talk to some of our experts about your harvest.

Beer Making - Boerner Botanical Gardens

Come to the Boerner Botanical Gardens and learn how to "Brew Your Own" with local experts from a city with a rich brewing tradition. Join our own Jim Sowinski for a demonstration and lively discussion on how to shrink your environmental footprint through reduced packaging, transportation and recycling by making it yourself!
